multi activity courses
multi activity week (MAW)

Pre Requisites: A desire to learn and an interest in the outdoors. Must be aged between 16 and 18.

Course Information: The week is based around a 5 day programme. You will travel to North Wales on the Sunday where you will meet the Creative Outdoors team. Travel from London can be arranged. The programme of activities will run from Monday and end on Friday afternoon giving everyone enough time to return home. Accommodation will be in youth hostel style accommodation. The course will consist of water based activities, walking and navigation, climbing, mountain biking, survival and team challenges. The course can be used to progress your current skills, learn new ones, and satisfy the DofE Gold residential section or just to meet like-minded individuals and make friends for life.

Assessment: The activity level will be based around the applicant’s current knowledge and skill level. We will endeavour to complete a number of qualifications during the course if we can. 

What is provided? Accommodation, food and transport during the week is provided. All personal protection equipment specific to each activity will also be provided however if you wish to bring your own please show it to your instructor on the first day of the course in order to check its serviceability. If you want to buy any equipment prior to your session please have a look at our shop. It can be sent to you in preparation for your session or we can have it ready for you to use when you arrive.

group multi activity week (GMAW)

Pre Requisites: A desire to learn and an interest in the outdoors.

Course Information: The week is based around a 5 day programme. You will travel to North Wales on the Sunday where you will meet the Creative Outdoors team. Travel to and from your location is to be organised by you. The programme of activities will run from Monday and end on Friday afternoon giving everyone enough time to return home. Accommodation will be in youth hostel style accommodation. The course is open to school or youth groups on a sole occupancy basis and will consist of water based activities, walking and navigation, climbing, mountain biking, survival and team challenges. The course can be used to progress your current skills, learn new ones or satisfy specific learning outcomes set by you.

Assessment: The activity level will be based around the applicant’s current knowledge, skill level and what you wish the group to achieve from the week. We will endeavour to complete a number of qualifications during the course if we can.
